Lizzie Wenger is a Salt Lake City born and raised artist, focused on capturing and sharing stylized and vibrant Western Landscapes through acrylic on canvas. Her work explores rhythm, color, and the unspoken magic of the natural world — often realized through bold desert-scapes and towering mountain scenes. Her work seeks to remind us of the importance of preserving and protecting these sacred places.

"Viridescent" studies the iconic Mt. Olympus of Salt Lake City's Wasatch Range, as seen in the bold green hues of early summer in the foothills. In the creation of this piece, Wenger particularly notes the movement: the tall grass dancing in the wind, the clouds circling overhead, the sheer rock faces climbing upwards.
